Golf Manufacturers are constantly flooding the marketplace with newer and better golf equipment. The new technology can help golfers of all levels improve their games, but with so many clubs being introduced to consumers each golf season, making an informed decision can be a difficult task when it comes to buying that $400 driver.
CTFoodandGolf.com can help you make the right choice!!! We have put together a team of golfers with varying handicap levels to test and rate golf equipment. CTFG believes that certain clubs are better for golfers in certain handicap ranges. We will feature 3 Clubs at a time and have our team rate them based on a 5 point scale. The ratings for each handicap level will be displayed accompanied by an overall rating and a brief commentary.

| NIKE SasQuatch Sumo Driver |
Low-Handicapper- (3)
Mid-Handicapper- (3.5)
High-Handicapper- (4) |
 |
PGA tour professionals K.J. Choi, David Duval, and Michelle Wie all play the Nike SasQuatch Sumo driver so it is hard to argue the effectiveness of this space age looking club. We found that our mid and high handicappers enjoyed the look, feel, and forgiveness of the Sumo while our low handicapper struggled with the pinging sound and inability to work the golf ball. This Driver is good for golfers of all levels due to its enormous hitting area and high MOI which reduces spin and produces straighter shots. Low handicappers interested in working the golf ball should try the more traditional looking SasQuatch 460.

| Ping Rapture 460cc Driver |

|
Low-Handicapper- (5)
Mid-Handicapper- (4.5)
High-Handicapper- (5) |
WOW!!! The Ping Rapture 460cc has everything you want in a modern driver. It is forgiving, long, and sounds great when it crushes the golf ball. All three handicap levels enjoyed the look of the Rapture and none seemed to mind the longer shaft length (45.75) which no doubt contributes to the long shots produced by the club. The club is powerful, but at the same time it produces an extremely steady feel throughout the golf swing. This driver is a great club for handicappers of all levels, including Lorena Ochoa and Chris Demarco.

If you haven't heard about the E21 line of products you will soon! This company named after the innovative Scandium Metal Alloy which the company owns sole patent rights to, has released a line of clubs which are creating a buzz around the golfing world. This is the most dramatic technology introduced to the golf industry since titanium. The Scandium Alloy, listed as E21 on the periodic table, produces a steel shaft feel coupled with power equal to or greater than graphite. This technology is being tested by numerous PGA professionals and it won't be long before we see E21 represented on the PGA tour.
